Accounts preparation

We produce management accounts during the financial year for our clients to inform them on a timely basis how their organisation is performing.

Management accounts provide real time information about how the business is performing and allow our clients to make commercial and strategic decisions.

We are also responsible for meeting statutory compliance requirements including year end accounts submissions and corporation tax computations.

Financial analysis and planning

We are responsible for preparing and updating operational models in support of bank reporting on PFI and PPP transactions. This includes quarterly updates for actuals and covenant reporting in response to bank reporting requirements.

Initially our role involved building operational financial models in response to more onerous bank reporting requirements following the financial crash. We are now engaged to reflect management accounts prepared by our clients in the operational financial models to demonstrate ongoing project performance to funders.

Due diligence / review

Due diligence is an aspect of our offering which has called on core skills learnt when training in a “Big 4” environment. We carry out financial due diligence on private sector companies wishing to enter into contracts with public sector bodies.

Due diligence involves undertaking analytical review of historical financial results and identifying future trends, carrying out press searches to determine any negative press with regard to the company and obtaining Dun & Bradstreet ratings. We present our findings to the client including the identification of key points to note and risk areas.
